Seek & Hide
Today he brought me a book with a little drawing of a pink smiling face, but then he pointed to his hurt fingernail, the one he scraped when he fell on the cold sidewalk a few days ago, and after a second I realized what he was thinking. The healing scrape made a semicircle across the the fingernail, just like a grin.
