Trail Blazing
Always in motion, swinging arms and legs and hips. This night especially, descending from Mt. Sanitas, after riding up in the backpack. He sing-songed to every trailside flower that would listen.

Fourth of July
Free watermelon courtesy of the Sedalia mobile Plum Creek Chapel. He tricycled (with our help–there’s a push handle) all over town, staring at the older kids on bicycles, scooters, mini-dirtbikes, and ATVs, and then promptly fell asleep five minutes into the fireworks.
