Growing
I’ll post this picture now, after he’s gained over two pounds in three weeks and regained his vitality. As near as we can tell, (and this is after a lot of nearing and telling), there’s nothing seriously wrong, except that his inability to eat or drink beyond nursing, his development in swallowing, has lagged the rest of his body. The nasal-gastric tube is to buy him time — to supplement his diet, and catch him up with his natural height and weight. And he’s tearing around (’commandoing’ and crawling) the house like greased lightning (coded reference to getting into the petroleum jelly).
