Sandbox at Dusk
Low-light photography, but using the 2-second timer to eliminate camera movement helped. Sometimes you just set the camera down on the nearest flat surface and get a composition this serendipitous. It must be warming up, because we’re playing outside in shirtsleeves at 7:30pm!

First Time Skiing
Theodore and I travelled up to Eldora ski area in a rowdy school bus along with 80-90 other students and parents from his kindergarten. He had a lot of fun and picked it up fairly quickly… I kept him supplied with fruit leather and he (we) made it though the low-key lesson. Gorgeous day, but my fingers were so cold as I was taking this picture (it was around 10am) that I had to quickly put the camera away and put on glove liners.
